Frozen
in Time Ltd have designed and built freeze-drying machines for
the world leaders in the field of archaeological timber freeze-drying.
The above
machine has a refrigerated chamber measuring six meters in length x
two metres diametre. The condenser chamber can collect over one hundred
kilos of ice and can be isolated and defrosted during the cycle. The
process is controled and monitored by computer and a detailed report
is printed out after the cycle for documented trace-ability.
A
number of machines from our range are available for drying smaller artefacts
made from wood and leather.
